Thimbleberry Inn offers a quiet getaway on 400' of wooded Lake Superior shoreline. You can relax in your personal Adirondack love seat while viewing five of the Apostle Islands, wild life, soaring bald eagles, and waves lapping against the shore. Spring and fall bring your fishing pole. Trout fishing is excellent right off our dock. Short-term licenses are available locally. During the winter, snowshoe to the ice caves or cross-country ski to Basswood Island, then come back and curl up in front of your wood burning fireplace. Rooms: Each of our three guest rooms have lake views, private entrances, private baths, and wood burning fireplaces. Snuggle beneath an exquisite hand made quilt depicting the view from your window. Breakfast: At 8 AM guests are awakened to freshly brewed gourmet coffee and homemade muffins delivered to your room in Longaberger baskets. Enjoy your basket in your room, on our dock, at your Adirondack loveseat, or on our spacious deck overlooking the islands. At 8:30 AM a full breakfast with juice, fruit and the main entree is served in the dining area. Many of the breakfast recipes are found in our Inn's own cookbook, "Cooking at Thimbleberry Inn Bed & Breakfast with Sharon Locey". Over 2,000 copies have sold, and we are currently in our 9th printing. Click here for more details. |
